MapMC uses only a small number of cookies — almost all strictly necessary to run the service. This policy explains which cookies we use and why.
Analytics preferences
Choose whether optional Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity analytics can run. Necessary session cookies are always available.

What are cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. We also use your browser's local storage for the same purposes. Below we refer to all of these simply as “cookies”.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary — a session cookie that keeps you signed in (Better Auth) and a CSRF token for security. These cannot be turned off. Functional — your interface preferences and first-touch/current-session attribution stored in the browser. Analytics — Google Analytics 4 may set or read first-party analytics identifiers and measure page views, registrations, purchases, and refunds. Vercel Analytics is cookieless. Microsoft Clarity may set analytics cookies when enabled. We do not use advertising or cross-site marketing cookies.
Third-party cookies
Google Analytics 4 may set first-party analytics cookies on MapMC and send usage and commerce events to Google. Microsoft Clarity may set analytics cookies and collect session interactions when enabled. Google OAuth is contacted only if you choose Google sign-in. Stripe uses its own cookies on its secure checkout page when you start a payment. Each provider has its own privacy policy.
Managing cookies
Your browser lets you view, delete, or block cookies in its settings. Note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or staying signed in.
