Private AI texture workflow

Minecraft AI Texture Generator

Turn a clear text direction into 1–4 original Minecraft-style texture candidates for a block or item, inspect each at 16×16 or 32×32, edit its pixels in the browser, and download the original or your edited PNG. This is not Image Converter, Pixel Art Generator, a block-palette planner, map-art workflow, or a full resource-pack maker.

How to use the AI Texture Generator

  1. 01Describe one original block or item texture, choose the target, resolution, material direction, and allowed background.
  2. 02Sign in, verify your email, accept the current terms, then let MapMC’s server determine the trial or paid reservation for this new request.
  3. 03When every selected candidate is downloadable, inspect tile previews, edit each pixel buffer independently, and download the original or edited PNG you need.
  4. 04Download the chosen PNG, place it in the matching block or item texture path of a compatible Java or Bedrock resource pack, then enable that pack in Minecraft. MapMC does not currently create the pack metadata or install the texture for you.

Minecraft AI Texture Generator FAQ

What does this generator make?
It creates 1–4 new Minecraft-style texture candidates from a text description for one block or item at 16×16 or 32×32. It does not convert an uploaded image, make a complete resource pack, or export a ZIP or .mcpack.
What is a good prompt?
Name the material, wear, color relationship, and visual boundary. For example: “Weathered copper bricks with pale teal seams and no symbols.” Avoid text, logos, official Minecraft assets, and requests to imitate a named living artist.
When is the free attempt or paid reservation used?
A trial is permanently used when its job is created, even if it later fails or is deleted. A paid job reserves 18, 35, 52, or 69 eligible paid top-up Credits for 1, 2, 3, or 4 images and settles only after every selected candidate is downloadable; a terminal failure restores the reservation. Signup bonus and gifted Credits cannot fund this AI feature or cover a shortfall in paid Credits.
Can I edit and download each candidate?
Yes. Each returned candidate has its own in-memory RGBA editor with Pencil, Eraser for transparent Items, Fill, Replace, Eyedropper, Reset, and separate undo/redo. Original downloads remain separate from edited downloads.
Are the textures private and guaranteed safe to use?
The assets are private to your owner session and retained for up to 30 days unless deleted earlier. They are not a guarantee of originality, rights clearance, seamless tiling, commercial fitness, or direct in-game compatibility.
