How to import a .mcworld file on iPhone or iPad

Minecraft on iPhone and iPad is Bedrock Edition. Download Bedrock (.mcworld) from MapMC, update the official Mojang app, check free storage, and do not unzip or rename the package.

Choose correctly

Open the download in Files. Tap it, or use Share and choose Minecraft. Wait for import, then open Play > Worlds and find the new world.

Steps

If Minecraft is missing, save locally or to iCloud Drive and retry. Confirm the .mcworld ending, restart Minecraft and check storage. Renaming a normal ZIP does not create a valid world. Open the world once and keep a second copy.
