How to use the Minecraft Structure Finder

  1. 1

    Enter a known Seed

Paste a numeric or text Seed for an unmodified world from a supported Minecraft Java version.

  2. 2

    Choose a dimension and structures

The selector shows only the structure locators independently verified for that dimension.

  3. 3

    Read each nearest X/Z result

Results appear one by one. Copy coordinates or open the same private Seed in another free MapMC tool.

Verified capability registry · Java 26.2

Only verified Java 26.2 structure locators are selectable

Every selectable structure has its own official Golden-set and local browser-evidence record in MapMC's current Java 26.2 kernel. This is local verification evidence, not a claim that every device or game edition has been accepted.

Keep exploring your Minecraft Seed

Carry the same private Seed and coordinates between MapMC's browser tools, or switch to the separate real-world map generator.

Generate a world from a real place

The Generator is a different tool: choose a real location and turn its map data into a downloadable Minecraft world.

Minecraft Structure Finder FAQ

Do I need a Seed?

Yes. This browser tool calculates nearest structure locations from a known Seed for a supported Java version.

Does it support Bedrock or Pocket Edition?

No. The verified capability registry supports unmodified Minecraft Java versions only.

Does it replace the /locate command?

No. /locate is the in-game command alternative. This page helps you inspect a known Seed privately in a browser.

Does it support structure-finder mods?

No. It is a standalone browser tool and does not install or convert mods.

Why do results appear one by one?

Each selected verified locator runs independently in the same browser Worker, so completed results can be useful before every selected structure finishes.

Does MapMC receive my Seed or coordinates?

No. The Seed and coordinates stay in browser memory and private URL-fragment state.
